NON-HANDED DESIGN
Remove machine screw on lock cover
Remove lock cover (use caution not to allow parts to dislodge when cover is removed and take a photo to preserve the structure inside)
Use tweezer to grasp the spring rod, lift the spring and tongue from lock housing
Turn tongue over and reinsert in lock housing. Depress spring and secure by placing end of spring rod in hole on lock housing
Return cover to lock housing, align and press cover to make the side of the housing flat, then secure cover with machine screw
Installation Instructions
1. Remove old knobs and mortise lock from door
2. Place new mortise lock in existing door pocket and align the trim plates and secure with the provided screws
3. Place spindle through proper hole inlock and thread knobs on spindle and tighten set screws on knobs
