The whip hose features a quick connect coupling to attach it to 3MTM Performance Spray Gun Pressure Nozzles. The other end of the hose has a standard threaded connection to attach it to either a supply hose or an optional ball valve. A unique stabilizing bracket at the threaded connection end of the hose, secures the hose to the base of the spray gun with a ball detent clevis pin. The attachment helps the technician control their hoses, reduces strain on the hose and fittings and helps improve spray gun balance. The hose connects to the atomizing head with a quick quarter turn, making the spray gun easy to set up, easy to break down and easy to swap out nozzles. Use with the 3MTM Performance Spray Gun, an innovative solution designed with the industrial painter in mind. Firm, Flexible Block Sanding
A durable, easy release vinyl face of the 3M Stikit Soft Hand Block accepts 2-3/4 inch wide Stikit Sheet Rolls or 2-3/4 x 5 inch Stikit abrasive sheets. It works with the soft foam body to maintain consistent, firm contact with the sanding surface even around contours. As part of our Stikit system, adhesive coating abrasives adhere firmly to the vinyl face with no slipping. Yet the face also allows for the abrasive roll or sheet to be removed quickly without leaving adhesive residue.
About the Stikit System
The 3M Stikit system was designed for convenient changes between abrasive grades or applications. Stikit abrasive rolls and sheets come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to the hand block is as simple as pressing on a sticker. Yet they remove cleanly without adhesive residue left on the block. This makes for very fast change-outs, saving time, and prolongs the life of abrasives.
