- High Absorption Capacity: Viktairy desiccant beads have exceptional moisture absorption, which can absorb up to 35% of its own weight. It is generally estimated that every 40 grams of silica gel can protect up to 30 cubic feet of enclosed storage space
- Color Indication: The orange silica gel will change to green when 50-60% absorbed with moisture. The initial color change does not indicate fully saturated, the desiccant will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50-60% RH and then turn dark green
- Rechargeable: The reusable desiccant beads can be reactivated by placing in the Oven for 0.5 to 2 hours at 200 to 250F or Microwave for 7-10 Minutes at 700W, heating until all beads turn bright orange. Depending on the condition of the silica beads, it may take shorter than the recommended time, please check the silica beads color periodically
- Package Contents: The package includes 5 organza bags and 2.2 lbs of rechargeable desiccants, sealed in an airtight barrel for long-term preservation and protection. The bead size is industry standard of 3-5 mm and is not suitable for drying flowers
